Vaitheeswaran Kovil (Angaraha Mars) : Lord Siva Temple The temple has five inscriptions mainly belonging to the period of Kulothunga Chola I (1070- 1120 CE). It is one of the nine Navagraha (nine planets) temples. Lord shiva represent as vaithiyanathantha swami Goddess-Thaiyal Nayagi Planet- Mars(Ankarakan) Benefits-Marriage dhosha nivaranam and cure the diseases of the body.

Thiruvenkadu (Budhan – Mercury) : From the inscriptions written on the temple walls, It is known that this temple received huge contributions from the Kings Aditya Chola and Rajaraja Chola. This shrine is celebrated for Budhan among the Navagrahas. Lord Shiva represent as Suredharanya swami Goddess- Brama vidyamikai Planet-Mercury (Budha). Benefits are to improve the knowlage and cure the disease of brain and nerves.

Keezhperumpallam (Kethu) : This temple is one of the Navagraha Temples where Lord Kethu is worshipped. Kethu is the symbol of knowledge and wisdom. Devotees throng this temple throughout the year to worship Lord Kethu. They offer multi colored clothes and cereals and pray to the God to protect them from the planetary transitions. In this temple, Lord Kethu is present in the form of Human body and serpent head. He will always make his devotees flourish once he transits into their zodiac sign. Though Lord Shiva is present here as the presiding deity.

Thirunallar Saneeswaran Temple (Sani -Saturn) : This temple was built by chola kings in 12th century AD.Lord shiva represent as Easwaran GoddessHPranambiga Benefits- Nalla Theertham Reduce the sorrows.Thirunallar Saneeswaran Temple is dedicated to Lord Sani (Saturn), Temple is very famous for various poojas and for different rituals. Alangudi (Guru – Jupiter) : Apatsahayesvarar Temple, Alangudi or Guru Sthalam or Tiru Irum Poolai is a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva located in the village of Alangudi in the Valangaiman taluk of Tiruvarur district, Tamil Nadu. Abathsahayeswarar Temple is built in a Dravidian style of architecture and has a five-tiered Rajagopuram with two precincts. Thingalur Kailasanathar Temple (Chandran – Moon) : Temple Gopuram is of 5 Storied, believed to be constructed by chola kings during 10th and 12th century A.D. Kanchanur Temple (Sukran –I Venus) : Agneeswarar Temple was believed to be built by the Chola dynasties and was later contributed mostly by the Vijayanagar Kings. Agneeswarar Temple is built in a Dravidian style of architecture and has a five-tiered Rajagopuram (temple tower) with two precincts.
